Pioneer Mission: 19-26 August (Germany Children's Camp)
19-26 August in Haltingen, Weil am Rhein (Germany)

KiWoh Children's Week
Regiogemeinde started a summer outreach to children years ago. For several years, at the invitation of local government social workers,  they gathered children at area playgrounds for games, music and Bible stories. The last few years this outreach now takes place at the church.

Last summer over 100 children participated during the five day outreach. Many of their parents enjoyed spending time at the parent cafe when dropping off their children and then returned for the closing program on Friday afternoon. Several children made professions of faith and there continue to be opportunities to follow up with the children and their families during the school year.

Language Opportunities
Non-German speakers
There are many ways you can help in supporting roles such as helping with games, food preparation or with childcare for the younger children of local volunteers. Each day the kids have the opportunity to participate in a number of sports, crafts or fun games. We would love to have your support in offering these activities. We would also enjoy being able to offer short sketches during our Bible lesson time. If anyone is gifted in leading this area or willing to act, that would be great as we don’t have the capacity to organize this each day. Non-German speakers could be a part of the sketches if we had a narrator or if it was more of a pantomime. Prayer and intercession for the week is obviously also a huge way you can participate.

German speakers
In addition to the roles listed above, we are open to integrating you into a variety of roles such as helping lead small group discussions.

If you have a special gifting or desire to serve in a specific way, feel free to let us know and we will look for a good role for you.
