To participate in the MBCFCP farmers' markets must be members of Direct Farm Manitoba, as well as fulfill the following:

Has sufficient farm vendors offerring eligible products to support the program
Does not allow reselling of farm products (only allows primary producers)
Has a market coordinator(s)/manager(s)
Follows the MB Farmers' Market Guidelines and has a valid farmers' market permit for 2023 (or will be obtaining a 2023 permit)

Please let us know if your market is able to meet the following program expectations:

Attend a pre-season orientation (in person or online)
Provide orientation for market vendors (brochure will be provided)
Ensure that all eligible vendors at your market will participate in the program
Ensure program signage is displayed each week
Collect redeemed currency and reimburse farmers from funds provided by DFMB
Return redeemed currency monthly with provided prepaid postage
Submit a weekly update online indicating the amount of currency redeemed at your market that week
Participate in mid-season check-in
Complete end of season survey
Work to make the program a success at your market!
