2022 IASWG VOLUNTEER AVAILABILITY
Student volunteers are the heart, hands, and soul of the IASWG symposium. With this digital event, we are seeking students to help with session oversight and logistics. In exchange for your time and effort, your symposium registration fee will be discounted to $0.

REQUIREMENTS:
In order to be considered for a volunteer assignment, applicants MUST:
1.) Be enrolled in a BSW or MSW program or be a BSW or MSW recent grad who graduated in either December 2021 or May 2022
2.) Be a current IASWG student member
3.) Be willing to be an active and engaged volunteer for at least 2 half-day volunteer shifts
4.) Attend a volunteer orientation session at the symposium

ABOUT EACH POSITION:

Language Translation Assistance:
- Support attendees/presenters in understanding session content in preferred language
- Answer questions as needed

Session Monitors:
- Arrive to the Session Zoom Room 10 minutes prior to the Session start time
- Introduce yourself to the Presenter(s) and Zoom Host
- If needed, assist the Presenter and/or Zoom Host
- Monitor the time to make sure the Presenter(s) stay within their scheduled time limit
- Manage attendance for Continuing Education credits

Zoom Host/IT Oversight:
- Assist Presenter(s) and Attendees with Zoom-related questions and support
