SaltConf21 Call for Speakers
SaltConf21 will be a virtual two day event on November 3-4 and the Salt Project Community wants to hear your story! Be sure to register at saltconf.com.

The theme this year is: Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger. How have you used Salt? In what ways has Salt become Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger? In what ways has Salt made your business Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger?

Space is limited, so make sure to submit your best proposals quickly and on time.
Prospective speakers can expect to be notified whether or not their talk was accepted by early September 2021, or sooner.

Need inspiration? You can see talks from SaltConf20 on our YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9svBjLDUl__frIm2HOGPm1GrcVQkOZTe

Talk content should be about 45 minutes in length, but you will have 60 minutes total to accommodate introductions, audience Q&A, etc.
If you have a use case or demo that is shorter than 45 minutes, please indicate that in your notes and we may be able to accommodate an alternate solution, such as pairing you with a similar short demo or including you in a panel.
SaltConf21 will be in English but we are able to work around a variety of hurdles, such as time zones, etc, so don't hesitate to make a suggestion.
Please direct any specific questions to saltproject@vmware.com.

Salt Project is seeking a wide range of content - here are some topic suggestions:
- Event-driven automation
- Security vulnerability management and remediation
- Policy audit and continuous compliance automation
- Software-defined data center systems including networks and storage
- Complex, large-scale deployments or implementations
- Multi-cloud orchestration, configuration and control
- Integrating Salt with other tools (ServiceNow, Splunk, security tools, monitoring, etc)
- Container management
- Tips and tricks to get more performance and efficiency out of Salt
- Unique Salt use cases (e.g. Internet of things (IoT); Serverless; AI/ML; etc.)

Your submission and subsequent acceptance gives us your permission to promote your talk as part of the event program. We will record SaltConf talks and make the recordings available on the Salt Project YouTube channel and our web properties at our discretion.

All speakers must adhere to the SaltConf code of conduct: http://saltconf.com/code-of-conduct/
