Introduction: We have learned in this weeks lessons that Jesus healed the man in the synagogue because he was bringing the message of God's great love for us. Jesus performed these miracles to show God's power and to help the people to believe in him as God's Son. God's love has power and our loving choices help show God's love. We act with love when we are caring, forgiving, loving, making peace, caring, trusting, and sharing, just to name a few. While we cannot perform miracles like God, he does call on us to allow his love to shine through us. One way we can do that is through our actions. Our good actions that we perform have power. The power to help and change peoples lives.  We believe that God will lead us to good actions. So let's take a minute to read a story about good actions on page 2 of your Gospel Weekly, "The Little Bird". When you are done please answer the questions below.

Great Job! As part of his love for us, God the Father sent Jesus. He sent Jesus into the world to lead us along "right paths" and through his Passion and Resurrection he also became our Savior. So how can we in return let God's love for us shine through us. The answer is by our loving actions. This week I want you to think of loving actions or good deeds that you can do for others so that God's love can shine through you. Each time you perform a loving action or deed I want you to color in a piece of the stained glass window. See if by the end of the week you can have all of the pieces colored in. You will find the "Good Deeds Chart" attached to the lesson link for this lesson. Simply print it out and get started!! I can't wait for you to share with me your finished window!!!
