Hello students! We can't wait to welcome you to Texas Tech and to Lubbock, Texas!

Thank you for taking time to sign up for International Student Orientation. Orientation is designed to help you prepare for your time at Texas Tech. You will learn about the various resources offered on campus, meet staff from the Office of International Affairs, and interact with current students. This is meant to be informative and note-taking is encouraged.

We would also note that this orientation is designed for international students who will be physically living in Lubbock for the Fall 2020 semester. If you plan to arrive in this U.S. in the spring, a spring orientation will be available to you at that time.

TIME and DATE: Orientation will be August 19th, 2020, from 10:30 am-1:00 pm via Zoom.

We will cover the following information:
- TTU Traditions
-Risk Management
-Immigration
-US Healthcare and insurance

You will also:
-Hear from the Vice Provost of International Affairs, Dr. Sukant Misra.
-Enjoy a meet and greet "coffee hour" with Global Guides (current students here to help you transition)!

On August 20th at 11 AM, an in-person, small group scavenger hunt on campus will help you familiarize yourself with the campus, the endless resources it offers & have fun with peers before classes begin.
