Are your friends always coming to you for advice? Ever wonder how to balance all of your academic and professional expectations while taking care of your mental, emotional and spiritual health? Join ASU Hillel’s NEW Wellness Learning Fellowship (WLF) to help yourself, help your friends, and become a better peer mentor for your friends!
This 6-week cohort is for anyone who wants to build a cohort of Jewish colleagues dedicated to exploring best practices and techniques in the wellness arena. Help yourself, help others, and help the world by exploring new perspectives on self-care and self-compassion. Learn new skills such as motivational interviewing to help your friends through challenging times while maintaining healthy boundaries. Learn how to navigate getting the care you need while in the workplace and how to speak with your future employers about your own mental health and wellness.
This is a skills-based class with Jewish concepts and texts woven throughout the curriculum.

- Dinner from local restaurants will be served for each class. For students who complete 4 out of 6 weeks you will receive a leadership certificate in mental health and wellness.
Who is this For?
- Any Jewish ASU undergraduate student regardless of previous experience or knowledge who is interested in helping themselves or their friends gain more concrete wellness skills! This is a great workshop for CAs, peer mentors, health educators, academic tutors, or students studying psychology, social work, or any social science degree
