This registration form is for schools who have worked with a Maths Hub on Teaching for Mastery (TRGs) previously and wish to continue collaborating with schools on mathematics leadership in line with current guidance and evidence-based pedagogies.
The Work Group consists of other local secondary schools. Each Work Group is led by a trained Secondary Mastery Specialist.
Embedding Work Groups will meet for the equivalent of 3 full days over the year to plan, observe and discuss teaching for mastery. In between meetings, participant teachers continue to explore mastery approaches in their own classrooms and move towards a consistent, whole school approach, with bespoke support from a Mastery Specialist. These Work Groups run for the duration of the academic year.
We will provide you with support to allow your school to continue to sustain a teaching for mastery approach in collaboration with other schools. This will allow you to make a long-term, positive impact on your maths teaching and learning.
TRNs (Teacher Reference Numbers) are required for all participating teachers. These can be found on a payslip, pension statement or training record, or can usually be obtained from your school office.
