Become a Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper!

Suicide is the most preventable form of death and all of us can save lives with the right knowledge and skills. It makes business sense for organizations to take a proactive stance in caring for the mental health of their employees.

Gatekeeper Training is a WHO (World Health Organization) and Government of India-recommended suicide prevention training that equips the workforce to identify early warning signs, provide emotional support, and refer the person to professional help.

Manah Wellness is collaborating with QPR Institute India to offer the world’s leading and India’s best-known Gatekeeper Training using the QPR method – Question, Persuade, Refer. Simply put, the premise of the Training is this:   People who attempt suicide give us subtle warning signs or clues when they think about ending their life. A co-worker, friend, or family member can most likely be the first person to notice suicide warning signs in their loved ones', and is, therefore, in the best position to act as a buffer against suicide, by applying QPR.

As a QPR-trained Gatekeeper you will learn to:

  • Recognize the warning signs of suicide.
  • Know how to offer hope.
  • Know how to get help and save a life.

Observing the World Suicide Prevention Day in the month of September, this training is a 3 hour facilitator led, that will be conducted on
