YCAMP (Youth Climate Action Midsummer Program) is a free program hosted by the Climate Extracurricular Education Subcommittee of the international 501(c)4 non-profit, Youth Climate Action Team Inc.
YCAMP is an all virtual STEM program that starts on July 19th and ends on August 11th. In these 4 weeks, YCAMP aims to teach rising 4th through 8th graders in the United States about the environment and sustainability through introductions, lessons, presentations, and projects.
From July 19th to August 11th, there will be sessions two times a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For more information on program times and our curriculum, please see the image below this description.
EXTRA INFORMATION:
- Lessons are made up of ice breakers, videos, discussion questions, exploration activities, a current event, and a closing activity
- YCAMP Mentors are high school volunteers who will work closely with students to create a final presentation
- Because we understand COVID-19 difficulties, we understand the financial hardships that have come to many households. Families may contribute a donation of what they can for the program that will fund gift cards for students and other program expenses. Contributions made via

YCAMP PRIZES:
Students will have a chance to win e-gift cards and award certificates through our activities and games. ALL students will receive certificates of participation with only 2 requirements:
- Attend at least 5 sessions
- Complete and present a final presentation
