All students signing up for COMS BC 3420 for Fall 2023 will initially be placed on a waiting list.  In order to be considered to be admitted to class from the waiting list, students should fill out this form.  In order to be considered for the class, you must BOTH sign up for the waiting list AND fill out this form.  Students who are not on the waitlist or do not fill out the survey will definitely not be admitted to the class.  Initial placements into the class will be made on June 1 based on sign ups and submissions received by May 31. Later placements will continue to be made as slots become available. Students will be admitted based on a combination of seniority, interest in the class, and contributing to a diverse set of viewpoints and experiences in the class.  Half of the available slots will be reserved for Barnard students (assuming sufficient demand).  More information about the class is available at https://www.cs.columbia.edu/~rwright/Courses/Barnard/comsbc3420-fall2023.
