• Participation is free of charge. Tea/coffee and lunch will be served during the event.
• Participants will be expected to pay for additional drinks at the Forum and a cash bar will be available.
• Sponsored accommodation (including dinner and breakfast) at Roodevalley Faircity Hotel is subject to availability. Once we have received your registration and request for accommodation, you will receive an email to confirm acceptance/rejection of your accommodation application.
• In the event that successful applicants need to cancel their accommodation bookings, this cancellation must be in writing by 02 August 2019 to
BIMF_FBIP@sanbi.org.za. Any participant failing to cancel by the due date will be liable to pay the FULL AMOUNT: Single, dinner, bed and breakfast (R1249 per person per day); Sharing, dinner, bed and breakfast (R860 per person per day).
• Due to space limitations and costs, students will be expected to share. In some cases, we may also expect delegates to share rooms.
• Travel support will be provided to a limited number of postgraduate students and early career scientists. Successful student applicants will receive an email confirming travel assistance. Other participants will have to cover the costs of and arrange their own transport to and from the venue.
• If there is not enough interest, training workshop(s) could be cancelled.
