Internet and YouTube Opt Out Form
The St. Charles School District offers parents the ability to opt their children out of access to YouTube and the internet.  By filling out the form below your child will be restricted on what access they have while on school provided devices.

This opt out form will need to be filled out each year in order to keep a student's opt out options current.  If you decide to opt back in to YouTube or internet access during the school year please reach out to the student's school directly to have the opt out removed.

YouTube and the internet can enrich student learning
YouTube is a powerful learning tool for students that allows them to learn at their own pace and investigate/research solutions to problems that are of interest to them. It helps students to become independent thinkers by providing them the ability to view differing viewpoints on a variety of topics and come to a logical conclusion based on the information they acquire. Along with YouTube, the internet provides our students the ability to search a variety of websites in order to develop their critical thinking skills.
