This program is a five-month youth entrepreneurship program for youth to build skills in product and prototype development. Our goal is to assist youth (ages 15-30) in building and refining their products in a low-risk environment while gaining knowledge and experience to take the next steps in their entrepreneurial journey.

• What's your role as a mentor?
  We’re looking for mentors to provide guidance and advice to youth wanting to build and develop products. Your role as a mentor will be to support their skill building journey and act as a sounding board. 10 youth will each be paired with a mentor over the course of 5 months to develop and make their products and prototypes.
  
  
• How much time will it take? Mentors must be prepared to commit 1 hour a week (or 4hrs/month) to the project during the 5 month length. Youth and their mentors will coordinate their own meeting times.
  Practicum begins November 4th, 2023.
  
  
• How will mentors be selected?
  Mentors must be skilled makers- be that in the form of creative development, fabrication, building, prototyping, beading, sewing, etc. Final selections will be made based on the needs of the participants.
   
• How will mentors be compensated?
  Each mentor will receive disbursements totalling $1,500 over the course of the program.
