Our Institute is a chance for students immerse themselves in a community of young writers with shared creative interests and to learn from professional writers and teachers who are as passionate about their craft they are. Students will have the opportunity to write an original story, poem, play, essay or try out a new genre.
Students should sign up for their first choice for both morning and afternoon sessions.
We will contact students before July 4th about the final course list and class schedules.

Current School One students do not pay for the summer program.
Write Rhode Island winners receive a 50% discount on the summer program fees.
If you're applying for financial aid, please register first and add a note in the Financial Aid section.
To pay the fees for the summer program you can pay by check, cash or online. You can opt to pay a $50 deposit or pay in full. If you pay a deposit, you must pay in full by July 22nd. Families applying for financial aid will receive an email or phone call from Write Rhode Island.
