Intergenerational Dis/Connections - an Oral History Project
Stories from previous generations tether families to identity, place, and belonging. However, with distance growing and road trips dwindling, how do families stay together when our elders are gone? "Intergenerational Dis/Connectionsuses I-95 to explore intergenerational relationship loss between family, land, and legacy while making sense of present and future generations’ own personal journeys of dis/connection from those anchors.

We are looking to speak with individuals and families about their experience of dis/connection to family, hometowns, and place and how road trips facilitated that connection.

This 3 minute form helps connect and conduct oral histories with folks who have a shared history and experience with road trips, The Great Migration, and family.
