NetWerx - Student Match Application
Dear Students-
The Werth Institute has launched NetWerx, a student development initiative where students have the opportunity to engage with a volunteer career coach over an introductory 8 week period. NetWerx sessions are conducted via video conference for approximately 30 minutes every other week. This interaction provides students an opportunity to speak with a recent graduate that has experienced career success about issues that they may be hesitant to discuss with parents, teachers, or employers. Accessibility, compassion, and desire to help are the key components of experienced coaches within this program. Students should be prepared to discuss their goals, strengths, and weaknesses in an open manner, so that they may put a plan in place and/or identify tools, frameworks, and strategies to prepare them for innovative and entrepreneurial careers.
As you approach this opportunity and you wonder how some people achieve greatness, we want you to know they did not do it alone. They had amazing coaches, mentors and trainers involved in their lives. Whether you want to reach the highest levels of technology, innovation or entrepreneurship, the Werth Institute wants to help you with finding a great coach who will help you advance yourself on this pathway.
Please complete this survey to sign up to participate in NetWerx. We are excited to provide this opportunity to UConn Students!
