You understand that piles larger than 4'x4'x4’ must have approval from the air district and must be inspected by Jackson Fire Chief or their designee *

You agree that you will keep water available nearby *

You will agree to keep piles 50’ from any structure and 10' diameter clearance *

You agree that you will have a responsible adult at the burn site at all times *

You agree and acknowledge that no burning is allowed in the downtown historic district *

You understand that this permit does not relieve the user of any legal responsibility for the safe use of fire or allow burning to be done in violation of any state law, city or county ordinance, or fire department regulations restricting or regulating the use of fire. *

You understand that burning is allowed within the Jackson City limits following the lift on burning restrictions by CAL Fire in Amador County. The Jackson Fire Chief or their designee reserves the right to suspend burning at anytime *

You understand that you may be held responsible for all costs incurred as the result of any damage caused *

You understand that you must call the Amador County Air District at 209-223-6246 to see if it is a permissive burn day. Just because it is a burn day does not mean it is safe to burn, use discretion. *
