This is a shared space to digest, process and unfurl together, in thought and action.
This is not a space to work out white fragilities or question the ideas behind racialized trauma. This is a space to work on how you as an individual can meet this historical moment in a way that honors that trauma and allows you to be embodied and engaged.
We can only really do this together.

Meet our Facilitator Katie Kadwell:
Katie Kadwell, she/they, is a cis, pan white woman who loves nothing more than digging in the earth, being outside, planting, and healing with the rhythms of the natural world. Katie grew up white and middle class in a mostly Black neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Seeing first hand how good intentions and a desire to help weren’t enough to heal, or even prevent, racialized harm and trauma sent her on a lifelong journey to learn and practice anti-racism. In addition to gardening and being outdoors, Katie loves making art, walking with friends or family, dancing, and laughing with her kids. She is looking forward to reading, processing, and working together to meet the moment we are in.
