The 18th Annual Music is Art Festival will be on Saturday, September 12th at Buffalo RiverWorks and River Fest Park.
What sets the MiA Festival apart from all the others, is the ability to celebrate so many artists and genres of music from the area that no other festival can do in one day.
In order to keep with the original purpose of the festival, which is musical and artistic diversity, you will generally be given a 15 - 45 minute time slot to perform. We understand that some songwriters and styles of music have varying length in compositions and we support that. Please help to support the musical community and MiA and be sure to keep track of your showcase time as you prepare for MiA 2020.
Please note that this in an unpaid gig.
If you are chosen to play at the festival, Music is Art will provide a list of backline provided for each stage so you may plan accordingly. If you are chosen to play you will be asked to sign a release form which will accompany your acceptance email. Should you be chosen to perform at the Festival, more details will be provided to you on parking, arrival times, etc.
Submissions are being accepted until June 30th. Notifications will be sent via email in July. For questions, please email
