IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW PLEASE READ


This form will help you sign up for the TABE online HSE/ABE Placement test that is required to enroll in an HSE/ABE course at RISE. If there was a date given to you as an option for testings that is no longer available on this registration form, it means that testing session has no open spots. There is a $30 annual program fee that covers this exam as well as any courses you would take over the school year. If you have already paid the annual program fee, this placement test is included in that fee.

You must be signed up and payment made a minimum of 3 days prior to the test.

Steps to take:
1.) Fill out this form completely.
2.) Come into RISE and pay the $30 annual program fee.  If you have not enrolled at RISE you will also enroll at that time. This payment must be made in person. We accept most major credit cards and cash. If payment cannot be made 3 days prior to the testing session call 775-337-9939 and talk to the office staff regarding your options.
3.) Once your results are in, you will come and meet with a counselor to select an HSE prep course or sign up to take the HiSET based on your score. If you test after the quarter has begun, the counselor will schedule you for a course in the following quarter.
* Payment can only be accepted from the person who will be testing.
4.) If you are to no call no show a $10 assessment fee will have to be paid again.

* If you are not planning on enrolling at RISE to take courses and are only interested in this placement test, you have the option to simply pay the $10 fee.  If you change your mind within that year and decide you would like to take courses, you will need to pay the full $30 at that point.
