HGAPS Professional Development Event: How to Get Involved in Research
Are you looking for a research assistantship for the summer or fall semester? Are you still deciding if you want to do research in the future? If so, HGAPS (Helping Give Away Psychological Science) is holding a professional development event on with representatives from the following labs: the Diversity and Intergroup Relations Lab, the Resilient Adaptation across Culture and Context (RACC) Lab, and the Maryland Psychotherapy Clinic and Research Lab. In this event, the lab members/managers will each talk about how they found their research assistantship, the kinds of research their labs do, and how one can succeed/develop as a research assistant. They will also answer any questions you have about what their labs look for in a research assistant, how to succeed in interviews for these positions, etc. This event will be held on May 4th, from 6:30-7:30PM on Zoom; if you are interested in attending, please let us know your name and email so we can send you the Zoom link. We hope to see you then!
