Hospitality - helping coordinate food/snacks/drinks for various meetings going on during a particular semester.
Hosting - we will always be in need for people to offer up their home to host events and hangouts. We will also have two big events each year that will require a number of families to host students overnight (HYND & OCC).
Prayer - team of parents committed to praying together in a slightly more formal or scheduled way for the spiritual development and maturity of our students.
Testimony/Member Spotlight - a parent would come to a particular gathering and share their story of faith, story of vocation, story of spiritual life/disciplines, story of church life, etc.
Small Group Leaders - help lead student small groups either for Bible Study, Forge, or Passage. This will be mostly facilitating relevant discussions, leading in prayer, and keeping up with students.
- Teachers - assist in the large group teaching that goes on throughout the year.
- Event & Trip Leaders - signing up to help lead some of our regular outings and trips like summer camp, mission trips, milestone weekends, etc.
Two more things to keep in mind as we get Mosaic Students going, please remember we won't need everyone serving all at once. The number of students in 6th-12th grade right now is not overwhelming, but we certainly will have more kids age into Mosaic Students soon enough. If you are not able to serve now, there will be more opportunities to jump in later. Second, we will be continuously evaluating and developing our training and safety measures for our Mosaic Students volunteers. If you have not served at Mosaic before there will be a process volunteers will have to undergo in order to serve. If you have served at Mosaic before, there may be additional steps we will have you take as well. We want to create a helpful and safe space for our students and families across all our ministries, so we want to take the necessary steps to make that happen.
