How can artists and storytellers use their talents to support a more fair, inclusive and sustainable world?

From 9-15 July 2021, the High-level Political Forum at the United Nations will convene Member States, UN agencies and civil society as a follow up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs.)  

On 11 July, 2021, the SDGs in Action Film Festival, coordinated by the UN DESA Division, will host its online awards ceremony, honoring the three winning short films that highlight how people and organizations around the world are taking action for the 17 global goals.  

On 16 July, 2021, juror and Create2030 Founder Lisa Russell - an Emmy-winning filmmaker with a Masters in Public Health (MPH) and 15+ years experience producing films, curating creative events and teaching creative workshop s– will curate a 2 hour SDGs Arts and Storytelling Workshop to guide artists and storytellers on how to align and monetize their creative work with SDG advocacy efforts.
