The Shared Schoolyard Project Improvement Survey
If your child attends school in San Francisco, or if you are working in one of our schools, or if you are living near one of our schools. We invite you to participate in the Shared Schoolyard Project (SSYP) Improvement Survey. In this survey, we ask you to provide feedback about your child's schoolyard. Please consider your experience at the schoolyard for the last two years. This survey is designed to help the shared schoolyard project, and the district leadership to improve their understanding of the parental needs for the shared schoolyard relationship.

The Shared Schoolyard Project is a partnership between the City and County of San Francisco, the San Francisco Unified School District, and the San Francisco neighborhoods and communities. The City and County of San Francisco fund the SSYP and are entirely operated by the San Francisco Unified School District. The SSYP is working on providing a place for children and families to play and gather within walking distance for every child in San Francisco by opening up schoolyards across the City for recreation and open space on weekends.

All responses are completely anonymous. Answers to anonymous surveys cannot be traced back to the respondent. Additionally, your responses will be combined with other responses and will be summarized in a school report to protect your anonymity further. Your participation in this survey is voluntary, and you have the right to discontinue participation at any point. You may take this survey for each child attending a particular school. If you have more than one child, and they attend different schools, you may elect to participate multiple times. If you prefer to use a different schoolyard from the one that your child is attending, or the one you are working at, then you may elect to participate multiple times.

If you have any questions or concerns about the survey content, please contact the Shared Schoolyard Program Manager Yelena Miakinina at MiakininaY@sfusd.edu
