Hi there

Thanks so much for your interest in our scholarship places at the November 2024 brightonSEO San Diego training workshops.

We have a number of free places available across our workshops for people who wouldn't be able to access it otherwise and/or who are from under-represented groups in our industry.

You can take a look at the workshop options at us.brightonseo.com/training.

Applications close on 23 September and places will be allocated shortly after that.

Scholarship places include the allocated training workshop (which includes lunch) on Monday November 18 and entrance to the brightonSEO conference on Tuesday 19 & Wednesday 20 November (plus the perks of a Friend ticket). The scholarship does not include travel, accommodation or any other meals.

===== A little bit of background =====

We know that certain groups of people are under-represented in the world of SEO so we're excited to offer scholarship places at our training workshops and fringe conferences.

These places are free of charge and aim to give the opportunity to learn more about SEO to people from under-represented groups in our industry. We hope it will help open up the industry and routes to the top.

For example people who are returning to work after a break (including maternity/parental/adoption leave), LGBTQ+ people, women, non-binary people, disabled people, people of colour, people who are unemployed or students. These categories aren't exhaustive but hopefully give you an idea of who we're trying to assist.

We've been working on making our events more accessible and inclusive so we are happy to chat about how we can accommodate your accessibility requirements.

Can you tell us a little bit about why you'd like to attend a brightonSEO workshop, why you should get a scholarship and the difference it'd make to you/your career? *

We're keen to support people from groups that are currently under-represented in SEO so if you feel comfortable mentioning how this applies to you that's helpful. This doesn't need to be an essay and you don't need to share anything too personal. Just give us a sense of who you are, where you're at with your career and how you'd benefit from a free place.

Scholarship places are for our in-person events in San Diego, USA. They do not include travel or accommodation which you will have to fund and arrange yourself. *
