ALA Officer Nomination Form 2019-2020
Please answer the following questions to complete your nomination form for the ALA Student Chapter Officer Election for the 2019-2020 academic year. All applications should be filled out by individual who would like to be considered for a position.
The President's duties include, but are not limited to: coordinating activities, leading events, and delegating tasks.
The Vice President's duties include, but are not limited to: taking over duties of the President in the latter's absence and assisting the President in carrying out the executive duties of the organization.
The Secretary/Treasurer duties include, but are not limited to: taking minutes, coordinating and creating advertisements
The Advising Officers shall be responsible for providing a voice for general members and assist as needed with duties assigned by the Leadership Board. This can include but is not limited to committee and program planning, social media and blog creation, and monitoring ListServ discussions.
Each appointment begins in June 2019 and will conclude at the end of May 2020 with an option to continue on as an alumni officer for one additional year if graduating.
