ForestGEO Early Career Conversations
ForestGEO is pleased to present an opportunity for students & early career researchers (<7 years since Masters or PhD)  engaged in the study of forest ecology to meet each other.  Here’s how it works:

1.  Indicate your interest in participating by filling out this six-question form by Friday, October 28.
*NOTE: To double-check your time zone: https://rb.gy/whoiws

2.  ForestGEO clusters participants into small groups.

3.  The small groups self-organize to meet for a 30-minute conversation on a mutually agreeable day/time/virtual platform.  (ForestGEO can set up Zoom calls if needed, but we will not be participating in the call).  Feel free to talk about your research interests, you research bottlenecks, a good book that recently read, a memorable field experience that you’ve had, etc.  These virtual gatherings are meant to be informal and conversational and are simply one-time commitments.

If you have any questions about this opportunity, please contact Lauren Krizel at KrizelL@si.edu.
