The unfortunate impacts of COVID-19 and raging wildfires have hit our local communities hard this year. As a project to give back to the community and recognize the lives lost from COVID-19, we here at Greenkeepers are determined to plant a tree to commemorate each life no longer with us today with the life of a tree. In Alameda County, the number of deaths from COVID-19 amount to 750 lives. Our goal is to plant 750 trees around the city of Fremont in fond memory of those who have passed away. All of the money raised will go towards buying trees and tools for our project. Donations are tax-deductible. Currently we have raised $15,573 in funds and grants and have planted over 100 trees. With your support, we hope to make our project a reality. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our organization, please feel free to contact us at
