This year’s district-wide “free meals” status alone is not enough to qualify you as eligible for the EPHS scholarship. Only students/families who have completed & submitted the form below and have been approved by EPHS as meeting the criteria will have 50% of the cost for their SOU credits paid for by EPHS & therefore then a 50/50 split in cost between families & EPHS. If your family meets the eligibility guidelines (see & must complete application below), you may meet financial hardship criteria and then qualify for a 50% scholarship. If a student/family does not meet criteria/qualify for the 50% scholarship or chooses not to apply then they will be responsible for the full SOU rate - (ASC is $50 per credit & EE is $104 per credit - see below).
Current full price rates for ASC/EE programs for high school students w/ SOU are as follows:
ASC (classes on EPHS campus taught by EPHS teachers) are $50 per credit; therefore a 4 credit class would total $200 & if one qualifies for EPHS scholarship the cost for family will then be $100 for a 4 credit course.
EE (classes on SOU campus taught by SOU instructors) are $107.50 per credit; therefore a 4 credit course would total $430 & if one qualifies for EPHS scholarship the cost for family will then be $215 for a 4 credits.
The costs above are only for ASC & EE programs - even the non-scholarship full cost rates are significantly reduced & a huge savings from the standard/normal tuition rates for traditional SOU students (HS graduates).
