Without volunteers we would not be able to do all the fun and amazing things we do. Even though volunteering isn’t required we greatly appreciate every person who helps! With Covid-19 a lot of our programs are on hold, but we are hopeful to open those back up as soon as we can. We would love to have your help!
We have many ways to help that fit a variety of skill sets and schedules. Please fill out the form and someone will be in touch with you soon!

Fundraiser- Help with the Fall 2020-2021 Scavenger Hunt.

Chat ‘n Chew - (Currently on hold)Volunteer to read to a small group of students during their lunch period and ask prepared discussion questions. The books and discussion questions will be provided by the school librarian and will be appropriate for each grade level. Children will be chosen to participate by their classroom teachers. The students will meet in the library with their lunches, during their lunch period, to listen to the selected book(s). Background check through the school district is required. Time commitment - During the school day, very flexible as to frequency during the school year.

Creative – Design and update the PTA bulletin board to share about upcoming events and activities. Create posters/signs for events. Supplies provided. Time commitment - Flexible. Update the bulletin board 3 to 4 times a school year, during the day. Posters/signs can be done at home.

Hospitality - Provide food, snacks, drinks and/or paper products for teachers and staff. Food and snacks can be homemade or store-bought. Items are generally delivered to school the morning of the meal, but arrangements can be with the Vice President of Hospitality for pick up and drop off. Time commitment - 1 to 3 times a school year (October, December, and May).

Photographers - Help take pictures during PTA events and provide them to our yearbook chairperson. Please use a high quality camera. Time commitment - Varies. Most events and activities are held in the evenings or on a weekend. Time commitment - Varies. Most events and activities are held in the evenings or on a weekend.

Robotics - (currently on hold) Help assist with the LEGO Robotics club for students in 4th to 6th grades. Time commitment - 1-2 hours after school a week, August to December.

Room Parent - Help Organize Monthly blessings for our Teachers. Budget given to you by the PTA.

Social Events and Activities -(Currently on Hold) Assist during various PTA events (Class Parties, Back to School Night, Movie Nights, Breakfast with Santa, etc.). Tasks may include set-up, distributing food or tickets, helping with activities, and clean up. Time commitment - Varies. Class parties are held during the school day on Friday, November 1, 2019 and Friday, February 14, 2020 and are approximately an hour long. Other events are generally held during the evening and volunteer shifts are no more than 1 ½ hours in length.

Woodworking/Construction - Construct carnival games/activities. Supplies provided. Time commitment – Flexible. Items would be needed prior to Friday, January 24, 2020.

Future Board Member- If you would like to be more active in the PTA and hold a board position, we will notify you when we have an availability.
