Thank you for your interest in presenting at MiWCA 2024! The conference will take place onsite at Lansing Community College on Saturday, September 28, 2024. We welcome proposal submissions from tutors/consultants, faculty, graduate students, and administrators. Presentation formats will include workshops, panels, and 15-minute individual sessions. This year’s conference will continue the tradition of “walk and talk” sessions, which will be hosted by members of the LCC Writing Center staff.

Each presentation space is equipped with a dry erase board, desktop computer, multimedia projector, and  document camera. All other necessary materials need to be provided by presenters. 

Workshops: 45-minute sessions for attendees to discuss, collaborate, create, learn and/or practice a new skill. 

Panels: 45-minute sessions shared among presenters and centered around common topic with 15 minutes for Q&A. 

Individual Presentations: 15-minute individual presentations within a 45-minute session. Presentations will be paired by conference organizers, followed by 15 minutes for Q&A.

We will begin reviewing proposals on May 24. In order to ensure your proposal is considered, we ask that you submit it by Friday, July 26.
