Thank you for your interest in becoming a Safe Space mentor. The program's success is only improved through the more folks we have engaged as trainers as well as trainees. Thank you for your part in making Delta State more inclusive and building a accepting culture for our LGBTQ+ friends and colleagues. Please fill out the following application and the Safe Space coordinator will be in contact with you in a few days.

Why do you want to become a Safe Space mentor?

Safe Space mentors will be required to: 1) attend a Safe Space training (1 hour) 2) attend a Safe Space mentor workshop (1-2 hours) 3) provide at least one Safe Space training a semester to either DSU staff, faculty, administration, or students. Are these all things that you are able and willing to do?
