H.I.S. CLUBS | QUARTER 3
H.I.S. Clubs exists with the intention to provide opportunities for children to engage and grow in areas that may not naturally fall within the academic program of the school.

While there is a minimum student number requirement for each club, there is also a cap on how large the club can be. The clubs are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis. So, sign up soon to ensure your child's spot in the desired club. 

If the minimum number of students are not met, the club may be cancelled for the quarter. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: 
- Regardless of the starting date, the charge for the club will be for the entire quarter i.e. all the sessions.
- A child can only start clubs after the full payment for the entire quarter.
- All payments are to be done only upon receiving the invoice.

A child can sign up for more than one club as long as the two clubs selected do not happen on the same day. 
CLUB RULES & EXPECTATIONS
1. Students are expected to be on time to the club. 
2. All students must be respectful to their club leader and their fellow learners. 
3. Defiant behaviour, non compliance, use of inappropriate language will result in removal from the club. The school holds all rights of reservation and removal or a student from the club if found to be in violation of the rules and exceptions of the after-school clubs. 
4. Students are expected to handle with care all equipment and materials provided to them for the club, and must not touch, tamper or engage with any material that does not pertain to their club. 
5. If a student misses a class, the class will be charged for. On the other hand, if the teacher is unable to lead a club any particular day, the class will be made up for in the next quarter. All payment settlement will be done at the end of the quarter or carried forward to the next quarter if the student continues in the club.
6. The school will not take responsibility of the any student after 4:00pm. Therefore, it is imperative for the parents to pick up their child(ren) at 4:00pm. 
UNDERSTANDING
  • In the event of an absent club leader, the school will inform you if the club is cancelled. 
  • If you hear nothing from the school, the club will take place as usual. 
  • In the event of the club leader's absence, the school will either a) cancel and inform the parents b) find a capable substitute leader for the club.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. HIS holds the right to reservation to the after-school clubs. 
2. HIS may un-enrol a child from club/s if they are found to be in violation of the club rules, expectations and policies. The rationale and reasons for such a decision are held by the school leadership. 
3. If a child is un-enrolled from the club due to a misdemeanor, the school will not refund any amount of the remaining club sessions for the quarter. 
4. Payments are to be made in advance for the entire duration of the quarter. If you have a date within the quarter that you will not be available, please mention in the comments below. 
5. I agree to the Club Rules, Expectations, and the Understanding mentioned above.
