1. Serving as a facilitator of a book club/ discussion group related to the book, Braiding Sweetgrass.
2. Create a set of (3+) extra credit assignments for MG Core Training Interns to complete related to JEDI + looking at continuing education accessibility
3. Caucusing for BIPOC individuals to create a safe space within the MGP program.
4. Analyze demographic data of MG's and clients.
5. Attend at least 3 cultural festivals in 2023 with gardening + recruitment info
6. Ensure that we have (more) BIPOC volunteers serving as public presenters (speakers)
7. Assist with managing our School Garden Mentor locations in Providence. Training is provided. Ideal for someone with knowledge of Providence.
8. Serve as the liaison (or team member) to a new partnership with an organization that is doing a food gardening project with underrepresented communities.
9. Investigate ways to recognize URIMG volunteers in an equitable way.
10. Work on our mapping project to determine which communities are not currently served by the MGP and strategize about next steps.
11. Reach out to religious organizations to explore partnership opportunities
