We need your help! Volunteers play a very important role in making the Walk such a success. We need help planning, logistics, and various event day support roles.
Funds raised go directly toward supporting essential programs and services for our fellow Islanders living with dementia, their caregivers, and families. Whether you have a connection to the cause, want to give back to your community, or are looking to gain experience and meet new people, there is something for everyone when volunteering at the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's.
*All Walk volunteers are required to go through ASPEI's volunteer onboarding process including providing a criminal record check.
Special Note for High School Students - you can access the Community Service Bursary Program to receive $10 per volunteer hour. Any high school students that volunteer with us will get $10 per volunteer hour to be put towards their post-secondary education, up to $1500. This is applicable for students as of July 1 going into grade 10, all the way until July 31 after their grade 12 graduation.
