The FLAS language certification is used to assess the language ability of University of Minnesota Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellowship applicants. Please fill out the following details about your student as accurately as possible. This form must be completed by February 1, 2023. Please contact flas@umn.edu with any questions.

4 (lower advanced, three years of language study completed)

5 (upper advanced, four or more years of language study completed)
