Let Your Light Shine: An Asian Jewish Hanukkah
Join your fellow Asian Jews in a joyful Hanukkah celebration! Delicious kosher-style food (including latkes), tradition with an Asian Jewish spin, identity processing and sharing — plus a chance to create a dreidel that's unique to your identity and sparklers for the perfect Hanukkah pic. Featuring Asian Jewish rabbinical student Maetal Gerson!

Saturday, Dec. 9 at 6:00pm.

In-Person Only in West Los Angeles. Address will be emailed out 24 hours prior to the event.

This event is open to Asian American Jews and their +1 guests. We define Asian American Jews as folks who identify as both Jewish (whether by heritage, religion, or culture) and Asian American. This can include mixed-race folks, transracial adoptees, Asian Jews by Choice, and more. We fully welcome those in the process of converting to Judaism.

Please note that photography will take place at this event and let us know if you have any questions.

This event is outdoors. Please dress warmly.

Children under 18 welcome, but must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian at all times. (Both parents are welcome to attend, however.)

This experience is part of NuRoots’ Infinite Light Hanukkah festival. Learn more and discover the lineup at nuroots.org/infinitelight.
