Mission: Under the Canopy School (UTCS) aspires to awaken students’ unique gifts through their journey of development, empower connections within the school and broader community with a multi-cultural focus and build life-long learners through active engagement with the environment. Using a Waldorf-inspired curriculum that integrates academics, arts, and nature-based learning.

Vision: UTCS envisions a nature-based school that serves students PreK-5th of Tulsa. UTCS believes that children learn best through developmentally appropriate experiential learning. UTCS utilizes a Waldorf inspired philosophy that teaches to the head, hands and heart. Children at UTCS will be environmental stewards that help build a sustainable future in their communities.
