Year 6 Camp Consent Form 2022
Please complete this form and return by Friday the 15th of September.
We will attend school camp from Tuesday the 22nd November- Friday 25th of November.
Our camp this year will be held at Camp Iona, 35 Tulliemet Road, Herbert.

Below is the proposed timetable for the week. Please be aware that some minor changes may happen prior to camp.

Tuesday 22nd November  
Children/staff to travel to Orokonui Eco Sanctuary for the day. Parent helpers to take their own vehicles
Late afternoon- Travel to Camp Iona on a bus.
Orientation walk, setting up bunk rooms and boundaries.
Night activities  

Wednesday 23rd November-Thursday 24th November
Students are in 4 groups and will rotate all activities over the course of two days:
Dunedin Climbing LTD  - Outdoor activities/games/Search and Rescue → Abseiling, river crossing, zip lining
Kayaking/yachting at McKerrow's Pond - Lions Club of Waianakarua -parent vehicles are required  to transport children to the pond.
River Swim

Friday 25th November
Pack up and clean up day.
Visit the pool in Oamaru for a leisure swim.  
Arrive at Kaikorai School by approximately 2:45 pm.

It is a requirement for every child attending camp to have this form completed by a caregiver.
