CAP Co-Chair Interest Form
The Women and Medicine Commission’s Career Advising Program is a sponsorship program designed to promote the academic careers of women physicians. Senior faculty sponsors are paired with early/mid-career sponsees to discuss topics such as promotion, networking, and leadership opportunities. Sponsors and sponsees meet regularly over a two-year period, and are invited to attend webinars which focus on these topics.

We encourage SGIM members interested in advancing sponsorship, working as part of a collaborative team, and innovating CAP to apply for this position.

  • Women and Medicine Commission (WAMC) conference calls; monthly
  • The chair-elect would work with the rest of the team to pair sponsors and sponsees based on common interests once a year and follow-up on matches as needed.
