[WiML Workshop 2021] Participation Form
The 16th Women and Machine Learning (WiML) Workshop is co-located with the virtual Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS) and will be held on Thursday, December 9th AND Friday, December 10th, 2021.
 
Thank you for your interest in participating in the WiML Workshop this year! This form notifies us of your interest in attending the WiML Workshop, and will provide you with participant access to the workshop's components. You will be emailed a copy of your responses, along with an edit link that you can use to update your responses until the form closes.

In addition, you will find in this form:
- Volunteer application
- Application to host a social during the workshop
- Poster mentor/mentee application
- Funding application for NeurIPS registration and/or partial internet and equipment subsidies
- Link to form to submit your resume for the WiML@NeurIPS 2021 Resume/CV book

DEADLINE to fill out this form to apply for these components: **November 5th, 2021**. Any changes to these applications after this date will not be considered.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This form does not constitute registration for the WiML workshop. To attend the workshop, you must be registered for NeurIPS (https://neurips.cc/Register). If eligible, in this form you can apply for WiML funding for your NeurIPS registration.

Data usage and sharing:  
- You will be asked if you allow WiML to aggregate and anonymize your responses for use in WiML reports and publicity materials.
- You will be asked if you consent to specific information being shared with WiML sponsors.
- If your social proposal is accepted, the social title, names, and affiliations of all hosts will be posted publicly.
- If you are matched with a poster mentor/mentee, your email, name, affiliation, and research topics will be shared with your mentee/mentor.
- If you are selected to receive NeurIPS registration funding, your email, name, affiliation, country of residence will be shared with NeurIPS.

International conferences in machine learning include the International Conference on Machine Learning (icml.cc), the Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (neurips.cc), and equivalent conferences in related fields (e.g., ICLR, AISTATS, KDD, AAAI, IJCAI, JMLR, CVPR, NAACL, CoRL, COLT, FAccT, ICASSP, SIGGRAPH, etc.).  If you choose to share your data with WiML (later in the form) we will aggregate and anonymize your response for use in reports and publicity materials.
