Ōtautahi Learning Days will be
May 13-19, 2024. This year we are excited to explore our key theme of
the Future of Learning '24 by connecting rich conversations, place-based and digital learning, and focusing on future opportunities.
Join us for a week celebrating learning that stretches our thinking into the future. Get curious, get creative and have some fun!
The core focus is on providing accessible, hands-on, intergenerational, and experiential learning opportunities; all aimed at celebrating the culture of learning in Ōtautahi and envisioning the future of learning. This reflects our valued partnerships that focus on Mātauraka Māori, intergenerational learning, gamification, tech for good, access to learning, collaboration, the celebration of diversity, and a spirit of playfulness. These principles are at the heart of our event.
When designing your event ask yourself: What are you curious to explore? What might you create? How might you collaborate with others? How might we gamify learning opportunities/experiences in our region? And what new thinking might ensure a better learning future for all?
Our first Learning Days in 2020 was a new initiative with very little funding BUT it's been a successful festival and has been growing each year, we would love for you to join us and help us reach even more life-long learners in 2024!
