Dear Parents/Caregivers
Students in Year 7 to 10 have the opportunity to attend the North Harbour Golf Zone Day. Please se details of the zone day below:
Date: Monday 13th November 2023
Venue: Warkworth Golf Club, 4 Golf Road, RD5 Warkworth
Cost: $20.00 per student. This includes entry fee of $15.00 and contribution to van fuel costs.
Time: Meet at school at 8am. Tee off times start from 9.30am. (Meet time could change once draw is advised closer to the event)
Transport: School van
Uniform/Equipment: AJHS PE shirt, AJHS PE shorts or golf pants if owned, and covered sports shoes or moulded boots. Students will need to bring their own golf clubs.

The competition is open to year 7 to 10 students and will be run with gross and stableford winners in individual categories as well as a team (3 - 4 players) ambrose format for students newer to golf.
The tournament will run in accordance with the Stroke Play R&R Rules of Golf and as such Conforming Distance Measuring Devices will be permitted.
All students registering for this event must have had experience in playing golf. It is not a learn to play day.
Students will need to bring:
Golf Clubs, their usual golf equipment, sunblock, sunhat, snacks, lunch, water bottle, school sports tracksuit (if owned) or school hoodie/ jacket/jumper.
There is to be no mufti attire visibly worn at this event. Students can wear warm attire under their AJHS attire if needed.
A staff member will be attending the event with the group but depending on the number of students that sign up for this event we may need assistance from parents to attend the event and walk the course with a group of students to assist with the pace of play. (No caddies or playing advice to be given)

If your child has permission to attend, please complete and submit the following form and make payment of the $20.00 by 9am Friday the 3rd of November 2023.
