ICC offers you: regular weekly club nights, internal tournaments (incl. club championship), opportunity to play for club in Suffolk league competitions. Normally, to play competitively and have your rating updated upon performance you need to become a member of the ECF and pay a yearly fee.
Prospective members are welcome to attend for a couple of weeks free of charge before deciding if they would like to join; we do sometimes organized learning sessions to improve your chess.
