Fall 2024 Call for Community-Engaged Courses and Projects
The Community-Engaged Teaching and Research team at Northeastern supports community-engaged courses and other disciplinary-based or curricular learning experiences across the University. This form is for faculty members, campus partners, and other student organizations that may be looking to partner with our team and receive support in designing and facilitating these experiences. To learn more about our team's philosophies and the support we offer, please visit our self-guided faculty onboarding module.

Please use this form to indicate whether or not you are planning to teach a service-learning course in Fall 2024.

If you indicate that you ARE teaching a service-learning course, this form is STEP 1 of planning for your Fall 2024 course/project. Your responses allow us to mark the courses on Banner with a "with service-learning" attribute so that students will be able to see that the course has a community engagement component prior to registration, as well as inform our planning and communication process. After you complete this form, someone from our team will follow up via email to collect additional information about the type of support that you are looking to receive as a part of the course/project. If you are a returning faculty member, please indicate what, if anything, will be a continuation from a past semester.

If you have specific questions before filling out this form, you can schedule a consultation with our team by emailing service-learning@northeastern.edu.

We are looking forward to collaborating with you during the Fall 2024 semester!
