Wylie Burke Endowed Scholarship for Diversity
The purpose of this endowed scholarship is to support University of Washington undergraduate and/or graduate students from diverse social and experiential backgrounds, who are working in interdisciplinary space to study the social, ethical, and policy implications of health research and/or healthcare. Preference shall be for students with affiliation to the Department of Bioethics & Humanities, though students from other UW departments are eligible.

The scholarship seeks to cover costs of tuition, books, fees, travel to professional meetings, and other educational expenses. The scholarship funds will be awarded to UW students in the amount of $1000 per academic year.

Scholarship applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until May 30th. Selection of Wylie Burke Scholars will be completed and communicated by June 30th, with scholarship funds to be used in the subsequent 12 months.
