TREP Online Application                                for the 2024-25 School Year
The Teacher Recruitment and Preparation Program (TREP) is a program that allows qualified students in an educator career pathway to concurrently enroll in college courses for two years after their senior year. College tuition, fees and books are paid by Englewood Schools!

To be eligible to apply for this program, you must:
  • be under twenty-one years of age
  • be enrolled as a full-time high school student in Englewood Schools
  • be a senior in your fourth year of high school when applying for the program
  • have completed one class in the Educator Pathway during your 12th grade year
  • be accepted into a college that is participating in the TREP program with Englewood Schools
  • meet all prerequisites for the course(s), including required test scores, and not be in need of any basic skills/remediation coursework
  • have an updated Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) with your high school counselor.
  • Apply for the College Opportunity Fund (COF)
By completing this application, you are indicating your interest in the Englewood TREP program. This application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Students must be both eligible and selected for the program based on the availability of seats granted by the Colorado Department of Education. Seats are usually allocated in late spring and are limited. Students will be notified of their selection decision as quickly as possible once the district has received their allocated TREP seats. This typically occurs by June 1.

Please visit the TREP Webpage for more information. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Dr. Diana Zakhem at diana_zakhem@engschools.net or 303-806-2005.

This application will close on Friday, April 19, 2024.
