The registration deadline for all workshops is 24 hours before the workshop start time. If you have registered and received a copy of your submission, but have not received the ZOOM link (for a virtual workshop only) by email within 24 hours of start time, please contact us ASAP at kcmg@desu.edu.

It’s a fact that insects and other creatures live in our gardens. While many are beneficial, others are pests that can damage or destroy plants or annoy gardeners at work. How do we protect our gardens without using pesticides that can be harmful not only to pollinators and other “good bugs” but also to the environment and human health? Join us to explore other options to try before resorting to pesticide use.

In this session, we will discuss various methods for gardening earlier and later, choosing the right location, climate control, and watering techniques.
