Music Futures Experience
TRANSART has developed this program to engage young people in discovering how a love of music can become a job that leads to a career. This program will expose you to key aspects of the music business- from playing and performing to running mics and booking gigs. There's a place for every level of experience, from beginner to advanced, WE WILL START WHERE YOU ARE.

-There are THREE 2 week sessions. 
- You can register for as many as you like.
- All instruments are available in all sessions.
- In total this is a six week summer program.

- Monday through Friday 9am to 3pm 
- Breakfast snack and lunch is served. 
- All sessions are held at Cunneen-Hackett Arts Theater at 12 Vassar Street
Our instructors are the TRANSART Jazz Artists in Residence: Craig HarrisChristopher Dean SullivanChief Baba Neil Clarke and Mala Waldron. They each bring a personal commitment to passing their love of music on to future generations – you are part of that future.

This program is presented in partnership with the Cunneen-Hackett Center for the Arts in Poughkeepsie; it is partially funded by a Youth Services Grant from the City of Poughkeepsie.
